Broken Star - Lineart portraitby ~nachtwulf

This will have a cooler title once I get color on it. Anyway, tight lineart for a portrait image of my Twilight-Caste Exalt, Broken Star... not in scraps 'cause I like it too much to hide there.

The thing in his mouth, incidentally, is the firing match for his firegun weaponry. He habitually chews on it... either that, or he favors a pipe.

this is one of my favorites so far...the match is a good touch, but I like his scars or scrapes whatever they are...they add character...I think there what makes him look like something more than deftly drawn clean lines

I love this!

....Have you been in my head recently? I am asking this strange question because without the scars on his face, this looks like a character in my upcoming book called Project M.A.L.A.I. (it is actualy a joint effort to get this thing finnished, so technicaly it isn't just mine).

I know you haven't stolen it, and I'm not implying it either, but DAMN! He is the spitting image of Jadk, chewing feddish and goggles included!

you wouldn't mind if I link this pic when he comes up in the chapters, would you? I have several others agreeing to let their art be linked because their pics largely inspired the characters of the book or look so much like them by chance.

Well, he might not look so much like yours when he's colored... Star's hair and scars both are metallic silver... he's God-blooded, not entirely human. But I suppose you can link if you want to... there's some other pictures of Broken Star in my scraps gallery too.

Twilights are awesome (Exalted player and storyteller)

I love the movement of the picture, he looks like he has been caught in the middle of turning to look at the viewer which is very cool.

Will undoubtedly look a hundred times better in colour, but it looks pretty damn awesome as is. The circle is beautiful, the interweaving curcuitry look is very cool.
