This is really just a rough sketch of Gareth that ended up with enough personality that I felt compelled to scan it. A bit of hasty color thrown on, and voila!

It's very unfinished, but I like it anyway. The image in the background is 'Moonraider', an echo of one of Gareth's ancestors, who's form he can take on. Piracy runs in the blood, don't 'ya know.

awesome pic, but when i try to focus on the eyes i get vertigo..... bleagh its like the picture is jumping up and down!

That's just wow.

In my current writing project (which isn't on DA) I have a major set of characters who are all pirate-like, and furs too, so something tells me your work will have a rather large influence on me there.

Heh, it's kinda creepy how he has two eyes but other wise, I think it came out great. And you call this a sketch? This looks like final awesome art compared to mine! Gosh. You're so damn good....You and everyone else on deviant art. Anyway, enough of my ranting. I like it a lot.
