Look! It's another THINGY!
It's that time of year, I guess. The office is slow, and it's close to Halloween. These are, by the way, doodles. Admittedly, three and a half hour long doodles, but doodles nonetheless; just something to kill time and look like I'm busy. They're all small (original is usually only 3-4 inches across) done in pencil (a very sharp one), worked up from an extremely gestural scribble into...this. I just let them 'happen'; they're seldom planned in any sense. Like, for example, the mysterious appearance of eyes inside this thing's ribcage. Why does it have eyes in its ribcage? Who knows. The better to see its dinner, or something.
Someday I'd like to see one of these things in three dimensions, but I doubt I have that kind of patience.
