Kuyalu: Revised Portrait by nachtwulf Kuyalu: Revised Portrait by nachtwulf
Down and back up again... Kuyalu was an original character of mine based on Final Fantasy X-2; a New Yevon gunner and Baralai's bodyguard/flunky/stalker...well, anyway. The game he was originally on died a horrible screaming death :( so he's been completely refitted for a different game (Spirits' Legacy).

Yes, he's supposed to look like Jecht at about 20. It's entirely on purpose.

Yes it looks like jecht about right, a better looking version of jecht to be honest with you. He fits in witht he whole FFX2 theme pretty well but I have one question ... were the scars an afterthought? They look it to me and seem a little out of place I dunno why but there we are.

Sort of. He's an RPG character and got the scars through IC roleplay. They weren't part of the original character design.

Is there any chance that there is an original version with no scars laying about? I think it would be very cool to see.

At first I thought that this was a digitalart until I saw the category this was in. Then I was like, "Holy shathead!" That's a traditional art?"

Anywho, great job on your choice of colors. They blend together so perfectly. The softness of the colors and his solemn look really makes this a great piece of art!

The blue-ness of his head band really stands out of the overall brown-tinge of the picture. My favorite part is his hair. The details are just amazing. Great job!

 :star::star::star::star::star:  A full 5 out of 5 stars!

He's so cute! *glomps* I love the subtle colors you used to colr him, and the way he's got that expression like: "I'm sad, but I'll still smile for the camera!"
