First image posted after the hiatus! (what, you didn't think I'd quit drawing, did you?)

A costume-revision for my telekinetic on Crucible City, Mindstorm. Since he's based (loosely) on Ash and/or Rion from Galerians:Ash, I tried to make this look sort of vaguely like the cover to the game and soundtrack-CD, with...I dunno...no real success, I don't think, but the background came out well anyway. And while he is supposed to be well on the skinny side, he /isn't/ as weird-way-too-damn-skinny as some of my guys get. Overall, I'm pretty happy.

Actually, he's not from a story or fanfic, he's a character on a textbased RPG called Crucible City. The yahoo group is at [link] if you want to check it out.

Loving the colorations you choose to splay on your imagry as usual. Looks like some minor feet trouble though. Mmm. Feet are a bitch. *Muses idly*

i am not particullarly thrilled with this but i think it is really really good and cool. the background is just superbly done but the lighting seems to be somehow off. i love the text work as well.
the character is very well done with great attention to detail, colors, and shading. i am not thrilled with the emotionless face but the eyes look cool. also, there is no depth to his stomach and it looks like he is a 5 inch waist and that isnt right.
anyhow, this is really great work and id like to see more!

DA isn't playing nice with the comment-reply, but I'll give it one more go. If it mysteriously doubles up, it's not my fault...

Leon's blank expression is intentional... he's badly emotionally damaged and seldom shows any expression at all unless someone has succeeded in really pissing him off over something. He's also supposed to be kind of scrawny, although I think the main problem with this pic is that his legs came out too long. It's a chronic problem I have.

Yeah, he came out a little too skinny, but Leon -is- very gaunt, and not very muscular at all. If anything, his face isn't hollow-cheeked enough, but the anime style doesn't do gaunt-yet-still-appealing very well.

Also, the blank, emotionless expression is entirely intentional... Leon is badly emotionally damaged and seldom shows any emotion at all unless he's extremely pissed off about something. He comes off as very distant and detached in everything he does, whether it's vacuuming his apartment or telekinetically blasting the bad guys into chunky salsa.
